HOW TO STREAM AT-HOME
If you would like to watch the performance on your TV, the simplest way is to connect your computer directly to the TV. Most laptops have a display port out, which can be connected, either directly or with an adapter, to one of the HDMI inputs in your television. This is basically turning your TV into a second monitor for your computer.
Cable Connection
Screen Casting
If you are unable to connect your computer to the television directly with a cable, you may wish to “cast” to your TV from your computer or another connected device.
Note: Both devices must be on the SAME WIFI network for a screen share to be possible.
If you have a Chromecast connected to your TV:
With your device connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast, turn your television to the appropriate input and then play the video from your device (phone/ iPad/ computer). Once you start playing a video, tap the Chromecast icon in the lower right-hand corner of the player. In mere moments, your selected video will begin playing on your TV. You can control playback on your TV using the Chromecast controls at the bottom of the app.
If you have an Apple TV, you can connect with Airplay:
With your device connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV, start playing a video and tap the AirPlay icon in the lower right-hand corner of the player. Just like that, your selected video will begin playing on your TV.
If you have a ROKU and a Windows PC/ Android Phone (not iPhone or Mac) you may be able to cast to your television.
Read this article to ensure compatible hardware. Note: There are several settings that must be enabled on both the Roku, and the phone before the cast option will appear.
If you have an Amazon Firestick, you can connect with either Android or Apple devices.
Once you have determined HOW to connect, and tested that your set up works, read below for details on accessing the stream.
