Spring Break Academy

Did you know that we offer Academy classes over Spring Break? Our Spring Break Academy session features a full-day rotation of classes themed around a different musical each year. I am excited to announce the theme for this year's Spring Break Academy is The Wizard of Oz.

Spring Break Academy is an opportunity for students to learn more about Musical Theatre, Scene Study, Improv, Movement, Voice, and Devising in the context of a beloved show. During Spring Academy, students of mixed ages will work together on songs, scenes, group numbers and original material from The Wizard of Oz in the fast-paced style of summer-stock theatre! Spring Break Academy offers a full-day (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) rotation of classes, similar to Summer Academy. The biggest difference is the intimate class size allowing more opportunities for students to receive personalized training. Like all of our sessions, our focus will be on the process and not the product. We will have a presentation on the last day of class for students to present their work for family and friends.

Whether you have been with us since you were 5 years old or if this is your first time at the Springer Theatre Academy, the Spring Break Academy experience brings something exciting, challenging, and fun to the table for everyone!
