Read MoreThe education footprint at the Springer Opera House continues to expand, adding more responsibilities to staff members of the Springer Theatre Academy Education Office. Celebrating 25 years this year, the Springer Theatre Academy has had a profound impact not only in the community but across the county, opening doors for many other education programs.
James and the Giant Peach is part of the Springer Children’s Theatre Series in McClure Theatre at the Springer Opera House. Performances are on November 12, and 19 at 7:00 pm, November 13 and 20 at 10:00 am, and November 14 and 21 at 2:00 pm. Columbus, GA - After a year of producing shows on a temporary outdoor stage and live-streaming performances to keep audiences safe, the Springer Opera House will open its 150th anniversary season indoors with Shrek the Musical on September 24.
Due to concern for the health and safety of our patrons, staff, and performers, all remaining matinee performances for The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and Spamalot have been rescheduled for 8:00 pm on the same performance day.
