The Springer presents the “Men of Motown”
Columbus is set to come alive with a show to make you dance in your seat!
The Men of Motown brings together an exceptional cast of talented performers who pay homage to the musical legends of Hitsville, USA through electrifying song and dance numbers.
The audience will be transported back in time to experience the magic and energy of Motown’s golden era. From Smokey Robinson's heartfelt ballads (“Tracks of My Tears,” “I Second that Emotion,”) to Stevie Wonder's soul-stirring melodies (“Superstition,” “You Are the Sunshine of My Life,”) from Marvin Gaye's socially conscious anthems(“What’s Going On?” “I Heard it Through the Grapevine,”) to the infectious harmonies of The Temptations(“My Girl,” “Just My Imagination,”) and The Jackson 5 (“I Want You Back,” “ABC,” “The Love You Save,”) this is a show that promises an unforgettable journey through timeless Motown classics.
This production, in participation with 2024 Juneteenth citywide events, underscores the Springer's ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion. From Ma Rainey to the Men of Motown, the Springer Theatre has always embraced a legacy that recognizes our collective history and promotes equality.
